Norm Weiss is the Founder of NWA and has over 45 years of professional experience. He formerly served as Assistant Agency Director with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) where he directed statewide programs for hazardous waste, emergency response, and toxic site remediation. Prior to opening NWA, approximately 30 years ago, Norm served as a Managing Senior for two national environmental consulting firms.
He holds several professional designations and is a Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada. He is also a Lead Seminar Instructor at the Ira Fulton Schools of Engineering, at Arizona State University where he provides professional development training for HAZWOPER, Hazardous Waste (RCRA), and DOT Hazardous Materials.
At NWA, Norm’s primary focus is maintaining oversight and strategic direction for the Company. He provides expert consultant compliance services, audits and training for clients and supports the mentoring and development of NWA consultants.

With more than 12 years of experience in the industrial sector, Tommy brings a wealth of expertise to the NWA team. His previous position as an Industrial Chemistry Lab Manager in the metal finishing industry involved serving clients in the aerospace, medical, automotive, and military fields. Throughout his career, Tommy has worked closely with compliance and safety departments to implement new products and processes, ensuring that all initiatives fully comply with government regulations and industry specifications. He has experience Managing Hazardous Chemicals and Chemical Inventory Data and has been part of an Emergency Response Team. Tommy also has expertise in troubleshooting chemical manufacturing processes, laboratory instrumentation, and wastewater characterization.
