Dust Control Plan Requirements/Regulations

About to break ground in Maricopa County? Don’t let your project go up in dust—because if you don’t control it, you’ll pay for it!

Rule 310 requires a Dust Control Permit and a Dust Control Plan for any activity disturbing 0.10 acre or more. That’s just 4,356 square feet—less than a basketball court! Watch the video for more info, and reach out to us for assistance.  Because in Maricopa County, if you raise dust without a plan—you’re just blowing it!

Air Permit Modifications Rules

Planning to upgrade your facility? Add new equipment? Increase throughput—or switch solvents or cleaners?

Before you move forward, ask yourself: Will this impact emissions?

Because if it does, you may need an air permit modification, revision, or notification to your regulatory agency. And missing that step? It can mean costly delays, fines, or even enforcement actions. Watch the video for more and reach out to us for assistance!

The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act 101 Overview

Are you compliant in dealing with hazardous waste? We can help you navigate the plethora of regulations that stem from RCRA. RCRA is a federal law giving the EPA the authority to manage hazardous and nonhazardous solid waste from “cradle to grave.”

Leaking valves can lead to leaking profits!

Our LDAR Service program can be your solution! It's a system of procedures, inspections, and recordkeeping a facility utilizes to locate and repair leaking components of equipment that has the potential to release VOC’s or VHAP’s LDAR = “Leak Detection and Repair.” EPA says the product lost to leaks averages a cost of $1,370 PER TON!. Combine this with regulatory violation fines, that could be a hefty bill! Reach out via our contact us button to schedule a call or visit to learn how we can help.

EHS work in a Cleanroom Overview

Cleanrooms are meticulously controlled environments where the presence of minute contaminants can compromise the integrity of your final product. Precision and cleanliness are fundamental in these spaces. These environments can create bottlenecks when your EHS department needs to perform compliance audits, update chemical inventories or assess potential safety risks inside of cleanrooms.

We have extensive experience with cleanroom protocols. Reach out via https://nweissassoc.com/contact-us
